Mahogany "Chinese Chippendale" Dining Arm Chair

Magohany Chippendale style dining arm chair with a finely carved crested back rail with shell motif and floral ornament above a Chinoiserie style splat with abstract decoration. Wide sweeping arms around a medium English library green leather seat, the rails and square cross section front legs with fretwork style running decoration. Based on a late 18th century original.
