Description

Walnut and burl walnut veneered armchair with contrasting ropetwist inlays in the top rail above an openwork back of figure-of-eight motifs. High arms supported on reeded columns repeated in the leg. Neutrally upholstered seat above an x-frame curved stretcher. Inspired by an original of c.1800.
